Taiyo Machinery was founded in 1943 by my grandfather as a residential space that doubled as a factory.
That was a time when everything was scarce, but our company was founded in a manner that allowed people to gather in the same space and make use of the machines and materials that were available to them to take on the challenge of manufacturing products that would create a more vibrant society and everyday life. Needless to say, manufacturing is not something that can be accomplished overnight, but we created a culture in which our employees came together like a big family and pulled together to contribute to society and our customers, including by exploring new methods to achieve the precision requested by customers and having administrative staff who would take the initiative to provide on-site support for urgent deliveries. It is this workplace culture that we have inherited over the generations and will continue to cherish in the future.
In addition, as a Tier-1 automobile manufacturer, our company has been working to refine our technology and establish a system to achieve QCD for mass-produced products while receiving guidance from various people. As a result of our efforts, our products are now used in automobiles around the world. In recent years, we have also applied our gear technology developed within the automotive industry to robots, industrial machinery, motorcycles, aircrafts, and other areas.
Moving forward, technological innovation is expected to advance rapidly in the fields of electric vehicles, digital transformation, robotics, etc., as we transition into a sustainable society.
We will continue to take on the challenge of manufacturing prototypes, improving the precision of our products, and automating our production processes in order to imbue our capabilities into all kinds of items to make them faster, stronger, and more precise by integrating our gear technology with cutting-edge technology.
